Located in Carrabassett Valley, Bigelow range features two of Maine’s 4,000 footers with Bigelow West (4,145’) and Avery (4,080’) Peaks. In addition to mountain hiking, the Bigelow Range offers a quintessential rural mountain experience, complete with mountaintop ponds, the beautiful Flagstaff lake, and nearby Dead River and Grand Falls. It is also home to the Maine Huts and Trail system which is wonderful way to complement or complete your trip.
